Hi, Iām Tiffany.
I am a 200-hour certified yoga instructor from southern California and a self-proclaimed sober yogi.
My journey with yoga started a couple of years after college when I was living in Bangkok, Thailand. I was beginning to question my relationship with alcohol, unhappy with my body, and angry at the world, I was looking for a solution to my self-destructive behaviors. I found yoga at my local gym and instantly fell in love with how it made me feel: safe, strong, balanced, and soft. I practiced for a couple of years and took a hiatus upon returning to the States where my drinking escalated. I lost myself again.
Fast forward a decade later, my drinking had me in a toxic relationship and a deep depression. So, again, I found a solution in yoga and became fully committed to my practice once more.
After a few years of sobriety and adopting a regular yoga routine, I enrolled in a 200-hr. yoga teacher training course. Since then, I have had the pleasure of teaching students in Orange County and now in Ventura County. I have taken several continuing education classes in healing practices such as meditation and sound healing.
With me, I bring intentionality to all my practices. I look forward to serving you <3
Yoga and Sound Baths
-
What are sound baths?
Sound baths are an ancient healing modality in which participants bathe in various soothing sounds. The vibrations from the sound-healing instruments move blocked energy within their bodies. The moved energy blocks thus allow the participant to gain greater access to their energy centers. Baths can be designed for whole-body movement or can target a specific area in the body or chakra system in which the client is feeling stress.
The vibrations of the instruments (crystal sound bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, rain drums, wind chimes, ocean drums) can reduce stress and anxiety, improve concentration and sleep, and promote greater well-being. For those seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating experience, a sound bath can be a valuable tool for personal growth and self-care.

What is yoga?
Yoga is an ancient practice used to still the mind. In the Western world today, most people relate the practice of yoga to an exercise model that teaches flexibility, balance, and strength. However, this, called yoga asanas, is only one limb, or part, of yoga. Yoga also offers tools that promote emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Regular yoga asana practice can improve flexibility, strengthen smaller muscle groups, reduce the risk of injury, and promote overall physical well-being. Additionally, the meditative aspects of yoga can help reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, leading to improved mental health and a greater sense of inner peace.
